Given all the secrecy around them, drone warfare never had much of a spokesperson. In this cartoon by Zach Kanin (The New Yorker) and Rob Klein (SNL), with Brooklyn’s Augenblick Studios, it has four, and they make killer music, like Team America meets the Ninja Turtles, armed with autotune (sample lyric: “I’ll pledge allegiance to your booty, girl”). They have other weapons too, but their vibe is decidedly different from El-P’s drone rap or the drone pop that’s coming out of Peshawar these days.
