Nottingham-based producer Higher Self has been making some serious virtual waves recently and we’re very pleased to present an exclusive listen to a refix of his breakthrough track “Ghosts” by bassline god DJ Q.

Q’s turned in a snappy cut that packs some pretty big punches thanks to some twisty vocal work courtesy of Lauren Mason. Released on Pete Tong’s FFRR, a label enjoying a real resurgence at the moment, and slamming together deep house and an R&B tinged groove, this one looks set to explode in clubs and on the radio. So fix yourself some coffee, plug your headphones in, and prepare to start nodding involuntarily.
