This Friday we’re kicking off Club Munchies—our epic food fest at Spleen Bar. Missed the memo because your internet has been down / you lost your sense of taste in a tragic fireworks accident? No worries. Let’s catch you up.

In a (artisan, non-GMO, heirloom variety) nutshell, Munchies and the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival have partnered with a roster of young chefs, bartenders, and DJ friends for a festival-long event. Each night will host a rotating pop up restaurant, with chefs curating everything from the menu to the tunes, to demonstrate what inspires and excites them in food.

A few days out we’re excited to reveal the second announce of this juicy line up, which includes a SAMPLE beer pool competition and a world menu premiere from the Lazerpig team — pizza flavoured arancini balls aka Lazerballs.

Club Munchies will also be home to a specially curated bar and snack spot, open to the public all festival long. There’ll be SAMPLE beers and a specially curated cocktail menu—including our long awaited 2018 update on a Midori Illusion, the Munchies Dillusion.

As a shout out to the brave members of the service industry, we’ll be offering a special late night hospo happy hour from 11 PM till 1 AM.
