It’s hard not to love Xibalba. The evolution of the Southern California sludge lords has been an amazing thing to watch these past few years. From the best party video in the world, “Cold” to their absolutely crushing album Hasta La Muerte. To add onto that, the band just dropped a video for their song “GUERILLA.” It sort of feels like the spiritual successor to “Cold,” a bunch of people enjoying the hardcore scene and how they find a real home in that. To really show that off, the band tears shit up in front of a garage. It doesn’t matter if they’re playing in front of a 10,000 strong festival crowd, or someone’s house party; Xibalba tears shit up with some of the heaviest hardcore around.
